Taiwan Cement Corporation (TCC) established in 1946, privatized in 1954, is the first private company listed in Taiwan Stock Exchange. Its main activities are the production and sales of cement, cement products and ready mixed concrete.

Currently TCC has three cement plants (HoPing, SuAo and HuaLien) and 27 RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) plants, producing top grade quality cement for the market. TCC is the largest cement company in Taiwan with annual capacity of 10,600,000 metric tons.

In order to expand the business range and to establish a comprehensive system for cement’s manufacture and sale, TCC has stepped into the cement related industries. In addition, TCC has actively diversified it services by investing in other industries such as chemical and power generation. In 1992, to support the government policy of promoting the privatization of incineration plant, TCC has established Onyx Ta-Ho Environmental Services Co. on a joint-venture basis with Veolia Environmental Services, a worldwide leading company in waste management.
